Digital Stethoscope

Overview:

The MLT208 Digital Stethoscope is an electronic stethoscope with unsurpassed natural sound quality. It can be connected directly to a PowerLab BNC input using the supplied MLAC08 BNC to 2.5 mm Stereo Plug Cable (3 m), allowing you to listen to heart sounds while simultaneously recording representative cardiac traces. In addition to outstanding performance and ease-of-use, it provides uncompromised features for advanced users. These features include:

Features:

•  Amplify Mode with Adjustable Volume - amplifies up to 50X with continuously-adjustable volume control to set the desired augmentation for each subject
• Acoustic Mode - electronically provides a crystal-clear sound of a conventional stethoscope without the losses of air tubing
• Bell/Diaphragm Modes - provides frequency response for cardiac (low frequency murmurs, S3, S4) and pulmonary (higher frequency) examination
• Ambient Noise Rejection, 2nd-Generation (ANR2) – activate noise rejection in high-noise environments or deactivate in quiet environment settings
• Mute – allows muting until loud unwanted background sounds such as coughing subsides
• Programmable Preferences – Allows presets to the preferred auto shut-off time (2-5 minutes) and favorite operating modes
• Eartips and Headphone Comfort - Soft hypo-allergenic (Latex-free) silicone eartips provide superb comfort and a lighter force headphone spring since the sound is so clear that excess pressure is simply unnecessary.
• Light Weight Construction - Aluminum alloy, stainless steel and advanced polymer technology facilitate light weight and high strength construction
• Long Battery Life - 2xAAA batteries provide many months of use and a low battery warning provides battery life warning well ahead of time
• Audio Input/Output – Allows recording via MLAC08 BNC to 2.5 mm Stereo Plug Cable (3 m) (supplied) to PowerLabs
