Multi Chamber Myograph w/Touch Screen System

Overview:

The PL3508B24/TS is a  four chamber wire myograph research system for in vitro monitoring of smooth muscle function of up to four separate tissue segments of small arteries, veins and other tubular tissues, such as bronchi and ureter (tissue diameter > 60 µm to 10 mm). The myograph features include stainless steel jaws, built-in control unit, four temperature-controlled chambers, needle valves for individual control of chamber oxygenation, ports for solution removal, micrometers and built-in high-resolution force transducers.

The supplied DMT Normalization Module software allows the user to easily and quickly determine and set pre-experimental conditions for the tissue.

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 8/35 is shipped with ADInstruments LabChart software that provides data recording integrity, display and analysis features. The research system is also supplied with LabChart Pro software, which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP Client and Server). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features. 

LabChart Pro also entitles the purchaser to 5 years of FREE LabChart Pro software upgrades and updates. Purchasers are also entitled to any LabChart Module released during this 5 year period (excludes GLP Client and Server).

Applications:

The DMT Wire Myograph System can be used to investigate the structure and function of small vessels and other tubular tissues with diameters of >60 µm to 10 mm . Suitable tissue samples that may be investigated with wire myography include small veins and arteries, bronchi and ureter.

Multi-Chamber Myograph with four chambers (max chamber volume = 8ml in volume) allows the user to conduct up to 4 separate experiments. It is ideal for work requiring high throughput such as drug screening.This system also includes Tissue Pins as well as the jaws allowing larger tissues such as aorta to be easily mounted.
