Overview:
The PL3516B56-V Working Heart Ultimate System for Mice provides all the glassware and acquisition hardware to collect and analyze data from the isolated heart of mice in Working Heart mode. It provides measurement of perfusion pressure, aortic pressure, LVP, flow, oxygen concentration, pH, temperature and options for heart pacing.

The MLA1052 Pressure Gauge Kit (purchase separately) provides the necessary items to calibrate the pressure transducer.

When ordering the PL3516B56-V please specify the following.
Mains Power (V) = 115 for 110-115V or 220 for 220-240V
Note:
- Countries with 115V power service, the Thermal Circulator Pump requires a 20 AMPS outlet.
- Countries with 220V power service, the Thermal Circulator Pump requires a 15 AMPS outlet.
Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 16/35 is shipped with ADInstruments LabChart software that provides data recording integrity, display and analysis features. The research system is also supplied with LabChart Pro software, which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP Client and Server). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features.
LabChart Pro also entitles the purchaser to 5 years of FREE LabChart Pro software upgrades and updates. Purchasers are also entitled to any LabChart Module released during this 5 year period (excludes GLP Client and Server).

- A water-jacketed heart chamber and water-jacketed perfusion lines to ensure that the perfusate solution and the isolated heart are maintained at a constant temperature.
- A 16-channel ML880/P PowerLab 16/30 ideal for recording data from isolated heart experiments and includes ADInstruments LabChart and LabChart Pro analysis software.
- Mikro-Tip pressure catheters along with an inline Transonic flow system
- LabChart and LabChart Pro Modules to record parameters such as left ventricular pressure and end-diastolic pressure, Max and Min dP/dt, cardiac electrical activity (ECG), heart rate, flow, pH and oxygen concentration.
