Panlab 16 Chamber Organ Bath System

Overview:

This system combines the ADInstruments PowerLab data acquisition system, Bridge Amplifier, Isometric Transducers and LabChart software with a Panlab Organ Bath System. The compact designed Panlab Organ Bath provides a controlled environment for conducting isolated tissue studies. This configuration also provides all the essential components for recording and analyzing data from isolated tissue experiments. Currently tissue hooks and clamps are supplied, which also allow studies of isolated tissue rings or other tubular structures.

Ordering Information:
When ordering the PL3516B7/C-V please specify the tissue chamber size (C) = 5, 10, 25 or 50 mL

In addition, please specify the mains power voltage.
Where V= 115 for 110-115 mains power and 220 for 220-240 mains power.

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 16/35 is shipped with ADInstruments LabChart software that provides data recording integrity, display and analysis features. The research system is also supplied with LabChart Pro software, which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP Client and Server). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features. 

LabChart Pro also entitles the purchaser to 5 years of FREE LabChart Pro software upgrades and updates. Purchasers are also entitled to any LabChart Module released during this 5 year period (excludes GLP Client and Server).

Applications:

The Panlab Organ Bath System can be used for experiments performed in a temperature controlled environment and perfused with an oxygenated physiological solution, which allows the study of evoked tissue responses to:

• Pharmacological drug/agents (Dose Response studies)
• Electrical stimulation
• Both pharmacological and electrical stimulation

Force (isometric) responses are recorded from isolated tissues or organs from various species (chick, toad, rabbit, rat, guinea-pig, etc.). These include:

• Muscle (Smooth or Skeletal)
• Arterial rings or strips
• Uterine tissue or Vas deferens
• Ileum
• Colon
• Atrial or Ventricle
• Diaphragm
