The SPR-249 is an ultra-miniature Pressure Catheter (2.2F Nylon) with a single 3F pressure sensor side mounted at the tip and suitable for use in rats and rabbits. The catheter has a straight tip and a catheter body which is narrower than the tip sensor providing flexibility and minimal obstruction of the vessels or valves. The SPR-249 and SPR-249A catheters are reusable and can be repaired. The catheters use a Viking connector and therefore require an AEC-10C
Catheter Interface Cable for connection to any ADInstruments
bridge amplifier.
Calibration A
