Millar Mikro-Tip catheters provide a simple, efficient and highly accurate method for measuring pressures in the heart and vascular system in small and large animals.

The SPR-524 is an ultra-miniature Pressure Catheter (2.3F Nylon) with a single 3.5F pressure sensor side mounted at the tip and suitable for use in rabbits, dogs, pigs or sheep. The catheter has a straight tip and a catheter body which is narrower than the tip sensor providing flexibility and minimal obstruction of the vessels or valves. The catheter has an effective length at 2.2F of 100 cm, is reusable but not repairable.

The SPR-524 features advanced sensor design for maximum durability and a drift less than 3 mmHg/24 h therefore it is reusable but cannot be repaired. The catheter uses a low-profile connector and therefore requires an AEC-10D Catheter Interface Cable for connection to any ADInstruments bridge amplifier.

Calibration
A Pressure Gauge kit which provides the necessary items to calibrate the Mikro-Tip pressure transducer is available.
