The implantable Millar Mikro-Tip
® pressure sensor catheters provide the researcher with the ability to conduct studies which go beyond acute experimentation. Millar offer a range of skin button implantable catheters ranging in size from 1.4F to 3.5F.
The SPR-524I is a miniature implantable Pressure Catheter with a single 3.5F pressure sensor side mounted at the tip and suitable for use in large rats, rabbits or guinea pigs. The catheter has an implantable length of 10 cm and proximal length of 245 cm. The catheter has a straight tip and a catheter body (2.2F) which is narrower than the tip sensor providing flexibility and minimal obstruction of the vessels or valves.
The catheter uses a low-profile connector and requires an AEC-10D Catheter Interface Cable for connection to any ADInstruments bridge amplifiers. The SPR-524I is reusable and repairable.
