Frog Heart (Korean)
The basic principles of cardiac muscle physiology are investigated, including contraction force, measurement of electrocardiogram (ECG) and the effect of neurotransmitters on the frog heart.

In this experiment, students will:
- Examine the beating heart in situ and observe the relative contributions of the chambers to the magnitude of the contraction.
- Understand how changes in temperature of the bathing solution affect cardiac function.
- Know the Frank-Starling law of the heart and understand the relationship between stretch of cardiac muscle and the force contraction.
- Be able to describe and explain the effects of various neurotransmitters on the performance of the heart.
