Mammalian Uterus (English)

The isolated uterus of a rat or guinea pig provides a good example of a tissue containing inhibitory β-adrenoreceptors.
In this experiment, students will:

- Understand spontaneous activity in smooth muscle
- Understand the effect of adrenergic agonists and an antagonist on smooth muscle
