Frog Neuromuscular Junction (Korean)

In this laboratory, students investigate the physiological relationship between skeletal muscle and motor nerve supply.

Using an isolated frog gastrocnemius (calf muscle) and sciatic nerve the principles of twitch recruitment, muscle fatigue and the neuromuscular junction (using the muscle relaxant, tubocurarine) are explored.
