Sensory Illusions (Korean)

List of all LabTutor 3 Experiments
Human sensation is the conscious perception of information from both internal and external environments. It is detected, transmitted and analyzed by the sensory neurons in the somatic nervous system and autonomic nervous system. In this laboratory, students will investigate mechanisms of sensory perception and experiment with techniques that send conflicting information to the central nervous system (CNS).

The experiment includes four exercises:
  1. The first exercise explores the ability to sense joint position and how this can be altered in the presence of vibration.
  2. This second exercise examines the phenomenon of increased perception of weight during fatigue.
  3. The third experiment integrates the perception of weight in the presence of vibration.
  4. Finally students get to make qualitative observations on the effect of three different muscular vibration procedures.
