they run natively on both Intel and PowerPC Macs to guarantee the best performance in all situations.
Chart 5 and Scope 4 applications for Mac OS X run natively on PowerPC-based Mac computers.
The same applications run on Intel-based Mac computers using Apple's Rosetta technology - a translation layer that is
invisible to the user and allows applications written for PowerPC-based Macs to be seamlessly used on Intel-based Macs.
Our testing with Chart 5 and Scope 4 applications using Intel-based Macs with Rosetta shows no performance
concerns compared with usage on PowerPC-based Mac computers.
