Over the years, ADInstruments has continued
to improve its recording units. Sampling speeds have increased,
the number of channels has been extended, SCSI and USB connections
have been introduced, and support for additional Front-ends
and Pods has been included. This has led to the production
of a number of models which can be grouped into E, S, SP,
/20, /25 and /30 series PowerLabs.
Software and hardware specifications, including feature
sets, are generally specific to the E, S, SP, /20, /25 and
/30 series. You will find these terms used throughout this
web site, so determine which type of PowerLab you have using
the table above.
Due to the difficulty in sourcing and stocking spare parts
for older units, ADInstruments, whilst making every attempt
to support and service all units, can no longer support the
E Series models, namely /4, /8, /2e and /4e. |
