Extensions File : EventManager(6)Setup.exe (799 KB)

Release Notes for Event Manager v1.2

Event Manager v1.2 is compatible with LabChart v6.0 or later.

New Features
    Online Help
Event Manager now has Help, which is accessible from the Event Manager setup dialog and the LabChart Help Center.

Known Issues
    Overlapping LabChart 6 Macro Calls
Overlapping events, whose actions call LabChart 6 macros, may result in unexpected behavior due to the macros attempting to execute while other macros are already executing. This will be fixed in a future release of LabChart.

Changes Since Previous Version
    Adding, Deleting and Editing Events
Issues with adding, deleting and editing events in the Event Manager tree have been resolved.

    Settings Dialog
The Edit and Delete buttons in the Event Manager Dialog are now only active when an event/action is selected.

    Event Manager Monitor Window
- The Event Manager Monitor Window right-click menu now has a 'Restore Default Window Size' command instead of the ticked menu item 'Default Windows Size'. This command is enabled if the window has been resized.

- The Event Manager Monitor window can no longer be selected when a modal dialog is showing.

- The wording of the Monitor window pop-up menu is now consistent with the equivalent options in the Event Manager Setup dialog.

    Document Dirty Flag
Changes in Event Manager will now mark the document as changed, so the user will be prompted to save the document when closing.

    Play Sound Action
- The default sound location used in a Play Sound action by Event Manager is now correctly located under Windows Vista.

- If a selected sound file for an event is no longer available (such as when opening a document on another PC), Event Manager now selects a default sound (ding.wav).
