Video Capture Module: LabChart 6 for Macintosh

Update Software

The Video Capture Module allows QuickTime® movies to be recorded and synchronised with LabChart data. The data and the movie can be played back together allowing you to observe any effects on data from events that occurred during the experiment. The current version of Video Capture Module is 1.3. To update to the latest version, use the link below. Your existing Video Capture license will continue to work with this new version.

Release Notes for Video Capture v1.3

Video Capture v1.3 is compatible with LabChart v6.0 or later.

New Features Toolbar Video Capture adds a toolbar group to the LabChart toolbar, with buttons for the Capture Settings Window, Movie Window and Preview Window. Changes Since Previous Version Audio Recording The reliability of audio capture has been improved on the Mac Mini. Auto Save Video Capture no longer prompts the user for confirmation to save the associated movie when using Auto Save. Intel Macintosh Computers and iSight Cameras The external iSight camera is now able to be selected as a video source on Intel Macintosh computers running Mac OS X 10.5. The internal iSight camera is now able to be used as a video source on Intel Macintosh computers. Module Name The QuickTime Capture module has been renamed to Video Capture. QuickTime Capture licenses are accepted by Video Capture. Movie Navigation The reliability of the movie marker has been improved. Navigation between movies in a file has been improved, specifically when navigating across blocks without an associated movie.
