Heart Rate Variability (HRV) provides a comprehensive set of tools for the analysis and display of variation in the interval between heartbeats in human and animal electrocardiogram or arterial pulse recordings. For further information see the HRV Module page.

The HRV Module is also available as part of Chart Pro. Visit the Chart Pro information page prior to making a purchasing decision. If you need more information please contact your ADInstruments representative.

The current version of HRV Module is 1.1. To update to the latest version, use the link below. Your existing HRV license will continue to work with this new version.

Downloading of updates is free for HRV users but requires a password. If you do not have a password register here. (If you have forgotten your password, click here).

New Fetaures
    Evaluation Mode
HRV can be used without a licence for evaluation purposes only. In evaluation mode analysis is limited to 50 beats. In addition, HRV windows cannot be printed or copied and pasted and HRV data cannot be exported. A licence can be purchased directly from the ADInstruments Online Store by using the Buy Now button.

    Event Markers (HRV Comments)
HRV comments now appear as event markers. Existing files will automatically be updated to the new markers when first opened. Note: If HRV is not installed, event markers are not displayed.

    Analyzing Discontinuous Data
HRV can now analyze channels or selections that contain one or more empty data blocks.

    Macro Support
HRV now has macro support, allowing users to automate tasks using the Chart Macro functionality.

    Progress Bars
Progress bars are now displayed when analyzing, or adding event markers to, large files.

    Reselect Analyzed Data
A Reselect Analyzed Data menu item has been added to the HRV menu. This feature shows the selection region corresponding to the data analyzed.

    RR Interval Times in Text Files
Text files generated by selecting Export RR Intervals now include the time for each beat.

    Spectrum FFT
The range of FFT sizes for the HRV Spectrum has been dramatically increased to include larger FFT sizes.
