The Peak Analysis Module extends Chart to allow the detection and analysis of multiple, but not overlapping, signal peaks in recorded waveforms.
The module can be used either offline, to analyze peaks in existing recordings, or online, to analyze peaks as they are recorded.
The module calculates various parameters for the detected peaks such as height, width, slope, area and various time based parameters . The parameter values are displayed in a table and can be exported to other applications.
The module is suitable for analyzing peaks in areas of research such as:
Isolated tissue studies.
Hemodynamic measurements.
Amperometry
Cardiac action potentials.
