James will be talking about structuring remote contact time and what adaptations should be considered when moving a course online, to maximise student learning and engagement.

James teaches within the Physiology department at King’s College London and serves as Education lead for the School of Cardiovascular Medicine and Sciences. Last year, James was the recipient of the Physiological Society’s Otto Hutter prize for teaching and the previous year won the King’s Award for the most innovative teacher for his blended approach to online and classroom teaching in his undergraduate physiology modules.

Charlotte will be discussing how to use various design, assessment and accessibility approaches, as well as inquiry-based activities to enrich your online teaching approaches. The aim is to provide support and advice in the way your lessons should be formatted to engage students online. Charlotte will demonstrate her approaches in Lt, but the knowledge imparted can be applied to other online presentation tools

Charlotte's talk will be pre-recorded, followed by a live Q&A workshop with Brandon Calderon, an expert in managing online content delivery for maximal student engagement.
