The NaviCyte Vertical Ussing Chambers allow surgically excised tissue sections or a monolayer of cells (SnapwellTM) to be mounted, housed, and sustained between opposing faces of two half-chambers, both containing physiologically relevant buffers that can be continuously gassed. The two halves are held together by a high spring-tension retaining ring to ensure leak-free operation. These chambers can be used individually as a stand-alone entity, or up to six of the chambers can be mounted into a NaviCyte Heating Block Assembly (Vertical, 6 Chamber).
There are 12 tissue chambers with different apertures and a Snapwell version to suit a variety of applications. Caps, electrodes, and accessories can be selected depending on the application (purchased separately).
