The Digi-Lite™ Transcranial Doppler (TCD) series by Rimed provide the user with an all-in-one solution for reliable, noninvasive unilateral assessment of blood flow velocities in most major intracranial and extracranial arteries of the brain.
Overview
The Digi-Lite™ Transcranial Doppler (TCD) series by Rimed provide the user with an all-in-one solution for reliable, noninvasive unilateral assessment of blood flow velocities in most major intracranial and extracranial arteries of the brain.
Using a DL Series Transcranial Doppler Probe (2 MHz), you can insonate the brain at 64 different depths/gates simultaneously, and display up to 8 different Doppler spectrum windows, each showing up to 8 different depths simultaneously. Therefore, a single probe is used in unilateral (Intracranial, Extracranial, and Peripheral) studies for basic diagnosis and examination, such as careful examination of arteries comprising the Circle of Willis, the Vertebral, and Basilar arteries. Adding another probe allows for bilateral study types that require simultaneous multi-frequency, intracranial examination, and monitoring of blood flow velocities on both sides of the head, such as facilitating the detection of stenoses and emboli flowing in the bloodstream.
A specialized analog output cable is supplied with each DL Transcranial Doppler, which allows it to connect and send its measured signals (user selectable) to any PowerLab BNC input.
All DL series products are FDA, CE and CFDA approved, and ISO 13485 certified.
