Wireless Neural Recording

ADInstruments and Triangle BioSystems (TBSI) give researchers a way to fast track their behavioral-electrophysiological studies with industry-leading systems for wireless acquisition of neural data. The systems are ideal for rodent studies that require high degrees of movement freedom as well as accurate and precise multichannel spike data.

TBSI provide small, lightweight headstages with 3.5 (5 channel) and 5.5 (15 channel) hour battery life, high sampling rates and a wireless transmission range of up to 4 meters.

In combination with a PowerLab for data acquisition and LabChart software, researchers can acquire and analyze action potential signals (unit spikes) from individual neurons, as well as local and low-frequency field potentials from freely moving small animals.

TBSI Product Discontinuation

Please note, that due to considerable product overlap, our supplier is removing one of their two in vivo electrophysiology brands, which effectively discontinues all TBSI branded products, effective immediately.

Please be assured that there are no safety or technical concerns with any existing TBSI products. Additionally, all existing warranty on your TBSI products will be honored to its expiration date. ADInstruments is currently working to continue providing an alternative high-quality solution.

If you are interested in one or two, or even up to four channels of wireless EEG recordings, ADInstruments offers DSI biopotential telemetry products.

For over 30 years, DSI has been known for developing proven technology that provides reliable data and reproducible results through the most humane means possible. DSI’s products provide a flexible and reliable solution that wirelessly streams continuous data from conscious, freely moving animals directly into LabChart. DSI’s Physiotel implants are available for recording a range of corresponding physiological signals, including EEG, EMG, and ECG. You can also record pressure, other biopotentials, temperature, and blood glucose levels.
