Fluid flow can be recorded in tubing flow research.
Tubing flow is the quantification of bulk fluid movement within a piece of tubing. This is important to many discovery, evaluative and monitoring studies. Tubing flow can be measured using a variety of methods depending on the nature of the fluid and aim of the study.
In conjunction with our solutions shown below, any device with an analog output (+/- 10V) can be connected to a PowerLab data acquisition system for synchronization of the event in LabChart, giving you even more flexibility and the ability to integrate your data streams in one place.
All our hardware is backed by the appropriate safety certification standards. More information on safety standards.

LabChart software is designed specifically for life science data and provides up to 32 channels for data display and analysis options that are powerful and easy to use. With auto-recognition of ADI and LabChart Compatible hardware, multi-window views, one touch recording, simultaneous recording from multiple devices, specialized preconfigured settings, easy sharing options and an interface that can be customized to show only the features you want to use.
Manually detecting when the fluid flow signal reaches a certain threshold can be tedious or inaccurate due to variability in reaction times. To help with this, LabChart has graphical aids such as Guide Lines and the DVM mini window, and the Event Manager Add-On to automate this type of detection. Event Manager continuously monitors the level of the signal in real-time and can automatically start a series of actions when a set threshold is reached, which includes either prompting the user or running a pre-programmed event script.
