Internet Explorer:
Open Windows' Run dialogue, and type 'iexplore -extoff' and hit 'Return'.
The Run dialogue is located as follows:
- On Windows 7: Start Menu | All Programs | Accessories
- On Windows 8: Window Menu | Click the 'Down Arrow' to show All Programs
On either platform: Press the Windows Key + R

FireFox:
Click the Menu in the top-right of the FireFox Browser:
In the Resulting Menu, click the Help icon:
In the resulting menu click 'Restart with Add-ons Disabled'

Google Chrome:
Click the Menu in the top-right of the Google Chrome Browser:
In the resulting menu, click New Incognito Window. By default, Incognito Windows in Google Chrome have all extensions / add-ons disabled

Safari for Windows:
Click the 'Gear' Menu at the top-right of the Browser, and then select 'Preferences':
Then, choose 'Extensions' in the resulting dialogue, and move the Extension slider to 'Off':

Click the 'Safari' Menu, and choose 'Preferences'
Then, choose 'Extensions' in the resulting dialogue, and move the Extension slider to 'Off':
