How do I set the number of decimal places shown in Value Panels when authoring an experiment?

When creating or editing an experiment in LabAuthor, the number of decimal places shown in Value Panels can be set.
To set the number of decimal places shown in a Value Panel using a Data Pad column:
1. Open the Data Pad in the LabTutor Kernel and select the column that you want to set the number of decimal places for.
2. In the Data Pad drop down menu, choose Format Selected Numbers.
3. Use the dialog that appears to select a number format, or create your own.
To set the number of decimal places shown in a Value Panel using a channel:
The number of decimal places shown in the value panel or readout panel depends on the settings of the DVM source channel in the LabTutor Kernel. Many of the channel calculations have an option for setting the number of decimal places (Arithmetic, Cyclic Measurements, Derivative, Integral). If the channel does use the raw input signal (i.e. No Calculation), you can use Units Conversion to set the number of decimal places.
The number of decimal places for time DVMs is dependant on the horizontal time compression of the LabTutor Data Panel.
