In 2015, Microsoft released Edge as the browser to replace Internet Explorer (IE). Since then, IE has not received significant updates or added support for many modern web standards. Microsoft recently discouraged the use of IE as a default browser, and Lt has seen a decrease in IE11 usage over time.
To allow us to continue to take advantage of modern web standards to deliver improved functionality and the best possible user experience, ADInstruments will no longer support IE11 after 31 July 2020.
What does the end of support for IE11 mean?
End of support means we will not fix bugs that are specific to IE11. Eventually, we will begin to add features and functionality that is not supported by this browser.
What this means for you
In preparation for the end of support date, we recommend all users switch to one of our supported browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox, when accessing Lt.
Users who access Lt using Internet Explorer will see a blank window instead of the Lt login page.
