Integrated Electronics Piezo Electric (IEPE) refers to a type of piezoelectric transducer that is packaged with a built-in charge amplifier or voltage amplifier, and requires input power to operate. The MLT1010 and MLT1010/D Piezo Electric Pulse Transducers are passive devices that do not amplify the output of their internal piezoelectric crystals; therefore, they are not IEPE devices.
