Is there a way of testing the connection between a LabTutor Client machine and my LabTutor Server over a prolonged period?

It is possible to continuously test a LabTutor Client's connection to your LabTutor Server using Windows Command Prompt over a prolonged period. This will continuously send data packets to your LabTutor Server machine and indicate if there are any lapses in connection. To do this follow these steps:
1. Open the Windows Run item, by  going to Start | All Programs | Accessories | Run.
2. Type cmd into the Run dialogue to open the Command Prompt.

3. Type the command ping -t "name of Server machine"
servlet.ImageServer?id=015w00000026lMn&oid=00D20000000HncM
For example if my Server machine's name is adinstruments-pc, I would type ping -t adinstruments-pc
This will continuously send data packets to your LabTutor Server machine and generate response times. To end the protocol, press Ctrl + C
Using the above example, if you wish to save the results to a text file instead, you would use the command ping -t adinstruments-pc > c:\report.txt
