What causes the following error in the GLP Signing dialog, "Invalid, none of the rules apply, so the request was denied?"

The active period for the user certificate has expired. This active period is set by the Laboratory Administrator or System Administrator upon activating the certificate in the GLP Configuration Utility

 
The error can be fixed if the certificate has not yet expired. To check on the active period for the certificate, and to modify the active period if applicable, the Laboratory Administrator or the System Administrator may access the GLP Configuration Utility, and double click on the user's certificate in question. 
 
Under the Certificate details dialog, you can 
  • view the active periods, 
  • click the "modify" button, 
  • and extend the active period as long as the certificate has not yet expired.
