What is causing the error "Unable to install license; Contact your ADInstruments Support"?

Several issues can cause LabChart and LabTutor license installations from completing successfully. The most common issue is caused when specific folders are not accessible due to the user account permissions assigned by your institution's IT department. 
ADInstruments software licensing resources need to be placed in system folders that may require administrator permissions to change.

To ensure your ADInstruments software is installed correctly, we recommend that the installation and license codes are entered while logged in to the operating system with full administrator privileges.
