Troubleshooting the Sensor

Red LED flashes

Looking for a connection

The sensor is not connected to GA or kCDA.

Potentially the kCDA is not recognizing the sensor as expected, and/or the sensor does not recognize the kCDA as expected.

If you experience persistent Red LED flashes, an error message indicating “Sampling equipment not found” may appear (see below):

Selecting “Reset Hardware” will prompt a dialog box to open with a workflow to check through common problems and restart the kuraCloud Desktop application (kCDA).

You can also restart the kCDA by selecting 'Restart kuraCloud Desktop' on the kCDA tray icon. This will initiate kCDA to start automatically scanning and connecting to Go Direct® sensors for Lt sampling.

If the issue does not resolve, please:

  • Confirm that you are using the most up-to-date kCDA on a PC. The latest kCDA can be downloaded and installed here
  • Verify that there are no pending Windows updates on the device.
  • Try a different USB port or hub.
  • Try a different USB cable.
