What Parameters are measured as standard by the Equivital LifeMonitor?

The Equivital Life Monitor can measure the following parameters as standard:
  • 2 leads of ECG – Heart Rate, Interbeat interval
  • Respiration Rate and Effort – Via thoracic expansion of the chest
  • Skin Temperature – via infrared temperature sensor of the back of the SEM device which sits against the subject’s skin when fitted into the sensor belt pocket.
  • Tri axial accelerometer – Body position and level of activity

In addition to the physiological parameters measured as standard by the equivital LifeMonitor the monitoring can be extended with the use of compatible ancillary sensors that includes:

  • Oxygen Saturation (SPO2)
  • Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) also sometimes referred to as Electro dermal Response (EDA) (as a level of stress)
  • Additional skin temperatures at specific locations on the body – via a wireless dermal patch
