What steps should be followed when a PowerLab is not recognized by ADInstruments software?

If the computer cannot find the PowerLab or the ADInstruments software displays a message stating a PowerLab is not connected, do the following:

1.              Close the ADInstruments software 

2.              Turn off PowerLab

3.              Turn PowerLab back on

4.              Wait for the computer operating system to load driver and recognize that the PowerLab is connected

5.              Re-Start the software

The PowerLab should now be recognized.

Note:  It's also worth checking the cable connections, replacing if necessary, and checking the power cable/source if no power if getting to the device
