The Millar Knowledge Center, accessed HERE, is a great resource for learning the background of the Pressure-Volume (PV) loop experiment and surgical and analysis techniques. It is free to use and only requires a user to fill out a short registration form before granting access.
Additionally, the LabChart Help Menu topic for the PV-Loop module explains in great detail the various hemodynamic parameters it outputs, the techniques used to obtain them, and how to properly configure the software for PV-Loop recording and analysis.
