Why are two files being generated when exporting a LabChart Data file to the Apple Quicktime video format?

The LabChart for Windows QuickTime Export Extension allows the user to generate two separate Apple QuickTime movies when exporting a LabChart data file to the QuickTime video file format.  One of these movies contains a video of the Chart View and the other contains the LabChart cursor readouts.  To prevent the cursor readouts from being exported as a separate QuickTime file during the export process, uncheck the "separate cursor file" option in the Export As QuickTime dialog box as pictured below:
