When the Delsys Trigno System shows "USB connection errors", make sure you ...
- Have connected the Base Station to the PC using a USB cable
- Have powered the Base Station. If working correctly, the sensors are charging and the main LED is on
- Have the latest software (Trigno Utility) and firmware for the Base Station and sensors.
The software and firmware can be updated as follows:
Ensure all Delsys equipment (Trigno base station and sensors) is fully charged, powered on, and connected to the computer. Next, run the "Delsys Software Update" tool to check for firmware updates. The tool can be downloaded HERE. This application will likely trigger Windows' security measures. You may see a message like "Windows SmartScreen prevented and unrecognised app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk." Select Run Anyway. The Update tool will advise you on which components require updating. All sensors need to be updated individually, follow the on screen instruction in regards to powering off cycles. At the end of the process, run the Update application again to confirm all components were updated.
Additionally, we recommend using the latest release version of the Trigno Control Utility. The Utility is distributed as part of the EMGworks software package and the installer for the latest version can be downloaded HERE. The installer program will automatically run after clicking this link. When using the Trigno Hardware with ADInstruments' LabChart Software, select to include Delsys Hardware Support only. By default, Delsys Software support will also be installed (which will put software on your computer that you won't need).
If you experience any issues during this update process, please contact your local ADInstruments Technical Support.
