Why isn't all equipment manufactured by ADInstruments certified under a CSA or a combined UL certification?

ADInstruments historically only has combined Underwriters Laboratory (UL) or Canadian Standards Association (CSA ) certifications for Front-End amplifiers that have a direct electrical connection to human subjects (such as the Bio Amplifier line), and any equipment functioning as an isolated power supply (such as the PowerLab Data Acquisition Unit). For equipment that does not meet these criteria, ADInstruments does not intend to carry combined UL or CSA certifications.
