Why is the LabChart update process failing when updating via the "Check for Updates..." option under the LabChart Help menu?

This is a known issue that occurs when LabChart for Windows version 7.3.1 is installed on a computer using the Windows XP operating system.  To work around this issue, simply install the latest verson of LabChart 7 for Windows with a stand-alone installer file.  The most current LabChart 7 for Windows installer file can be download from the web page linked to below:

Note:  This issue was corrected in subsequent releases of LabChart 7 for Windows.
