The MLT004/ST Grip Force Transducer is designed for measuring forces in the order of several hundred Newtons and is considered a teaching grade transducer. For a teaching application, the signal to noise ratio should be acceptable. Due to some noise introduced by the electronics in the ‘Smart’ DIN Connector, measuring small forces (<10 or 20N) is not recommended.
