If the Welcome Center is linked to a folder that is continuously updating (for example, a shared cloud storage folder like Dropbox), your Welcome Center screen may flash each time it is updated. These flashes could be quick and continuous or occasional based on how often this folder is set to update.
NOTE: The Welcome Center does not actually close when it is exited to enter the Chart View. As it is still running in the background, the continuously-updating folder could cause a similar issue in the Chart View with the cursor and other minor features.
To fix this, you can uncheck the box at the bottom left-hand corner of the Welcome Center that says "Show Welcome Center at startup" as shown below:
If you would like to the Welcome Center to appear each time you open LabChart, you must find the continuously-updating folder, and delete it from the Welcome Center tab in which it is saved to stop the screen flashes.
