LabChart 8.1.15 (Mac)

Mac changes

  • Fixed issue introduced in LabChart 8.1.14 where exporting data as either MATLAB, IGOR or ADIBIN generates invalid output files.
  • Fixed stability issue introduced in LabChart 8.1.14 affecting certain files that contain either Digital Filter calculations or Arithmetic calculations making use of the + / - * operators.

LabChart 8.1.14 (Mac)

Mac changes

  • Essential release adding support for macOS 10.15 Catalina and later.
  • The option to display data in the Chart View in “Sweep mode” has been removed from Display Settings. This change was made to prevent users experiencing responsiveness and stability issues when using the Chart View on machines having high resolution Retina displays.

Known Issues

  • For machines that have high-resolution Retina displays, users may encounter responsiveness and stability issues when using the Scope View.

LabChart 8.1.13 (Win)

  • Fix for a input amplifier related setting specific to the FE185 Neuro Amp EX
  • Added support for the upcoming Equivital Device Enabler 1.1 Multiple SEM file import feature release
  • Fixed sampling issue for LCC Hardware Options, specifically for the INL191 Blood FlowMeter
  • Updated Bioamp Application Firmware for FE285, FE231, FE232, FE234, and FE238

Mac and Windows

Copying and pasting text into external applications has been optimized for data accuracy.

LabChart Online features (Send and Publish) have been removed. There is no alternative within LabChart to replace these features.

Upcoming Bio Amps - support features:

  • LabChart 8.1.12 adds support for our upcoming Bio Amp variants: Single, Dual, and Neuro.
  • LabChart 8.1.12 contains firmware upgrades for current generation Octal and Quad Bio Amp units.
  • LabChart 8.1.12 enables 26 Series PowerLab compatibility with Single, Neuro, Dual, and Quad variants of the current generation of Bio Amps.
  • Enhanced the BP Amp calibration units conversion feature.
  • Improved accuracy of application of certain Bio Amp filter combinations.
  • Resolved communications issue that may have affected current generation Bio Amps.

Windows

Macros can now be saved in a Macro Library. This is a user-defined folder that allows any LabChart file opened on that computer to access them.

Known Issues

Existing Quad and Octal Bioamps will require their PowerLab to be power-cycled after firmware upgrades, before LabChart will detect the connected channels correctly.

 

LabChart 8.1.12 (Mac)

Copying and pasting text into external applications has been optimized for data accuracy.

  • Exporting or copying and pasting text now produces correct data for channels containing Cyclic Measurements calculation data in multi-rate files.
  • Fixed an issue where LabChart might close unexpectedly after closing a PowerLab Front-end dialog. This could happen when configuring a PowerLab input on the second PowerLab used in a multi-PowerLab file.
  • Updated the ReadMe to show correct supported Windows operating systems: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

General

Windows

  • Nihon Kohden device support
  • Fixed several issues when using a Nihon Kohden NH300 device:
    • Amplitude of signal in Input Amplifier now always matches Chart view.
    • Changing the transducer type parameter in the Input Amplifier now always causes the correct gain range, units and scale for that transducer to be applied.
    • Opening the Input Amplifier, or changing controls in the Input Amplifier, no longer cause either that input or other inputs to be disabled.

General

  • Includes necessary support for the new Non Invasive Cardiac Output extension which can be downloaded from Feature Manager.
  • Fixed issue where setting scale to the default range in Input Amplifier chooses incorrect range.
  • The date now correctly appears on all pages printed from the Scope View.

Mac

General

A new "File Name" Data Pad function is available under the Block Information section in the Data Pad Column Setup Dialog which returns the name of the file containing the current selection.

LabChart 8.1.7 and 8.1.8 (Windows)

General

  • Fixed an issue where some views couldn’t be copy-and-pasted into other applications.
  • Stimulator interval can now be specified in milliseconds.
  • Fixed an issue where the input amplifier dialog would reset its scale to default after any setting was changed.
  • Fixed an issue where Data Pad’s channel value calculations were sometimes out by a constant factor. This could happen when making selections in the Scope view and a background page had been specified.
  • Fixed issue where Bioamp Dialog could display combinations of Low pass and High pass filter settings that were not supported by the hardware.
  • Updated Trigger help to mention limitations of Stimulator event triggers
  • When deleting data in the Chart View, there is now an option to set the start of the block time to 0.
  • Fixed issue where DataPad calculations in columns beyond 'BL' would display 'Calculating...' indefinitely and not display a result.
  • Fixed an issue affecting the display of the LabChart Logo in Welcome Centre
  • Added a new CopyEx macro command which has an option to suppress the convert to text dialog, making it easier to automate exporting data from LabChart via macros.
  • Update Stimulator help FAQ to mention using Interval instead of Max Repeat Rate
  • Fixed error message that would occur when importing macros from files saved with LabChart 8.1 or later.
  • Minor fixes to wording in Japanese and Chinese translated versions of LabChart
  • Fixed an issue where the SetCommentText macro command renames the incorrect comment.
  • Improved the macro commands for adding new comments: the constant kAllChannels can now be used for the channel index parameter to add a comment across all channels.
  • Fixed an occasional usability issue issue when attempting to relocate the marker..
  • Fixed an issue where the right pane of the Welcome Centre would sometimes open a different folder than the user had clicked.
  • Fixed right-clicking to add a comment in the Zoom View.
  • You can now set the number of decimal places from the Spectrum channel calculation dialog.
  • Calculated channel data is now correctly shown if present when sampling in the Arithmetic or Cyclic Measurements calculation dialogs.
  • Fixed issue where clicking on the marker home while sampling could result in issues with the display of data or the graticule..
