LabChart 8.1.22 (Win)

Improvements

  • Improvements to C Series inter-device synchronisation, the channel ‘click & hold’ pop-up will contain more accurate timing information
  • Improve performance of sampling from multiple C Series devices simultaneously.
  • Improved reliability of C Series USB PD negotiations, the PowerLab C will no longer crash when plugging in non-compatible USB-C devices.
  • C Series devices will now be grouped and ordered by their PowerLab C USB port number in new documents
  • The C Series Instrument Interface will now work with non-compliant USB-C ports
  • Improved the reliability when zeroing the Twin Axis Goniometer (MLAC85/86)
  • Improved the reliability when zeroing Bridge Amps
  • Added support for detecting legacy Bridge Amps via the C Series Front End Interface
  • Added support for importing LabChart Lightning recordings (.lclrec files)

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the first Isolated Stimulator (FE180/FE155) pulse in the Trigger channel wouldn’t appear in the trace (when connected to an C Series Front End Interface), it was still outputting however.

LabChart 8.1.21 (Win)

Improvements

  • Added support for the FE180 and FE155 isolated Stimulators connected via a C Series Front End Interface
  • Added support for legacy FE1XX Bio Amps connected via a C Series Front End Interface
  • Significant improvements to synchronisation between C Series Devices, particularly in longer recording sessions.

Fixes

  • Exporting Scope page data with multi-rate channels now exports synchronised data
  • C Series specific sampling issue with high channel counts
  • A calibration issue when using an FE2XX Bio Amp connected via a C Series Front End Interface

  • A calibration issue when using an FE2XX Bio Amp connected via a C Series Front End Interface

Known Issues

  • Disabling all channels from one device in Channel Settings can cause a crash

LabChart 8.1.20 (Win and Mac)

Release Notes

  • LabChart 8.1.20 adds support for the new C Series devices. The PowerLab C, Front End Interface and the Instrument Interface.
  • Fixed a crash and improved performance in Scope view for Mac.
  • Added functionality to rescan PowerLab & LCC devices during initial startup of LabChart 8 (Windows only).
  • Various bug fixes and performance improvements.

LabChart 8.1.19 (Win)

Release Notes

  • LabChart 8.1.19 fixes a discovery issue between the latest generation bioamps and the PowerLab 4/26 introduced in LabChart 8.1.18.

New Known Issues

There are no new known issues in this release.

LabChart 8.1.18 (Win)

Release Notes

  • LabChart 8.1.18 adds support for the new ADInstruments CODA device enabler.
  • LabChart will no longer hold up sampling during the device synchronization process for sampling sessions that only use 1 device. This primarily affects sampling from only 1 Equivital LifeMonitor.
  • Serial number suffixes have been appended to device names throughout LabChart to help discern between multiple devices of the same type.
  • Bugs have been fixed that affected some disc buffer recovery processes.
  • A bug has been fixed related to un-doing row deletions in datapad.

New Known Issues

There are no new known issues in this release.

LabChart 8.1.17 (Mac)

Mac changes

  • Fixed an issue where a calculated channel unexpectedly stops producing data while sampling.
  • Fixed a pod setup issue such that the Grip Force transducer now produces correct data values during sampling.

New Known Issues

There are no new known issues in this release.

LabChart 8.1.16 (Win)

Windows changes

  • Fixed issue where using the FE2XX Series Bio-amp (Octal, Quad, Dual and Neuro amps) input Low pass filters with cutoff frequencies of 1 kHz or lower could introduce inter-channel delays of up to ~1.5 ms.
  • Fixed issue where the FE2XX Series Bio-amp bandwidth was lower than expected at sampling rates below 100 kS/s. This also affected sampling with slave devices when sampling from multiple devices into the same document, e.g. when sampling with two PowerLabs the slave device would have a lower bandwidth than the master device.
  • Fixed issue with the delay compensation for FE2XX Bio-amp inputs. The delay between a signal recorded via the Bio-amp input relative to that recorded by a PowerLab input is now less than +/- 10 µs for sample rates above 100 S/s, and less than +/- 1 sample period for all sampling rates, so long as the PowerLab input and Bio-amp input have the same input low pass filter settings (including the case where the input low pass filters are both off).
  • New PowerLab Red enabler improves the self-calibration of 15 and 26 series PowerLabs (i.e. offset calibration on startup).

  • Fixed an issue where comment text is incorrect within certain files saved with LabChart 7 or earlier.
  • Fixed an issue where searching in the Help would return no results.
