TPS members will gain access to short-term loans of ADI data acquisition equipment and software for both education and research applications. This resource is designed to significantly enhance members' ability to plan, conduct, and redesign practical experiments, helping to strengthen grant applications.

Mid-Career Researcher Awards

ADInstruments and TPS will jointly offer two new awards to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of mid-career researchers and educators in the field of physiology. Recipients will receive £500 and an award, with non-member winners also receiving a one-year complimentary TPS membership.

Supporting Education and Teaching

This partnership actively supports the TPS education and teaching community by making high-quality ADInstruments resources available. This effort is key to inspiring future generations of physiologists, sharing subject knowledge, and raising awareness of diverse research-based and education-based careers.

Announcing the partnership, Phil Griffiths, ADInstruments General Manager for Europe, said:

"This partnership between ADInstruments and The Physiological Society marks an exciting opportunity for us to work closely together on our shared goals of facilitating high quality physiology research and education. We look forward to supporting key events over the next 12 months to bring the UK physiology community together."

Dariel Burdass, TPS Chief Executive, added:

“We are delighted that this partnership will provide TPS members with vital training, research tools and funding, particularly for our education and teaching community. Incorporating ADInstruments’ high-quality equipment and software into our membership offer will strengthen support for physiologists and enhance the inclusive benefits available through our new membership model for 2026.”
