We're all excited about the opening of our latest international office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - perhaps none more so than Middle East and North Africa Regional Manager, Mahmoud Khalil. "I am really delighted to announce that the ADInstruments office for the Middle East and North Africa is now open. My team and I look forward to providing solutions for life science research and education, fast technical help, tailored training and even better quality service."
The new office will support customers located in more than 200 universities in 23 countries, and has already begun to offer some great opportunities for researchers and educators. One of these is at the upcoming International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) conference in Nigeria, where ADInstruments, in partnership with the Physiological Society of Nigeria and IUPS, will be running a Physiology Teaching and Research Workshop on using technology in the classroom, showcasing the latest innovations for physiology education. Meet our MENA team members
Mahmoud Khalil - Regional Manager, Middle East and North Africa
Mahmoud has a Master's degree in Engineering and Biomedical Engineering and a BSc in Computer Engineering. He is responsible for sales, training and support in the Middle East and North Africa region. Mahmoud joined ADInstruments in 2011 as a Training and Support Scientist. Prior to this, he worked for the United Nations as well as Biomedical, IT companies in the Middle East and Australia.
Dr. JC Tan - Product Manager
JC is very familiar with all ADInstruments’ products. He has a PhD in cardiovascular models of hypocontractility and hypercontractility, investigating calcium cycling, sensitivity and contractility. He joined ADInstruments in 2006, providing training and support for staff and customer workshops around the world including Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand.
Maryam Kammoun - International Project Sales Engineer
Maryam joined ADInstruments in 2010 and has been involved in numerous projects within the company including Research and Development, Marketing and Sales. Maryam has an Honours degree in Biomedical Engineering/Medical Science, and also a Master's degree in Pharmacy.
