Hybrid Teaching to Custom Content - Tartu's Lt Journey
Dr Aavo Lang Associate Professor of Human Physiology,
University of Tartu, Estonia
Aavo teaches physiology to medical and dentistry students. He has been using Lt for two years. Aavo will share the experiences of using Lt in distance and hybrid teaching. Also, he will be introducing a few unique cardiovascular lessons with PowerLab and Lt.
Developing Lt As A Wider Education Delivery Platform,
Dr Andy Coney, Associate Professor in Cardiorespiratory Physiology,
University of Birmingham, UK
Andy teaches cardiorespiratory physiology across the range of programmes run by the College of Medical & Dental Sciences. Andy adapted to using Lt in his teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Andy is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has a keen interest in delivering innovative teaching and improving lab practicals. The introduction of Lt has allowed development of both these aspects during the pandemic and as we move forwards into a new normal.
Educating Through a Pandemic, Taking Up New Challenges
Marc Demolder (MSc Eng),
University of Antwerp, Belgium
Marc works within the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Antwerp in Belgium, where he manages the practical laboratories and exercises for the University's biological science classes.

Lt's Journey From Pandemic Teaching Into The New Normal
Dr Gethin Evans, Deputy Head of Department of Life Sciences,
Manchester Metropolitan University
Gethin has taught physiology in the Department of Life Sciences at Man Met Uni since 2008. The Department has been using ADInstruments equipment for 25 years. The Faculty of Science and Engineering invested in Lt to assist with teaching content development during the pandemic. The Department has also invested in Lt Sensors and the Faculty are due to move into a new building in Summer 2023. They are currently planning on how to use all of the ADInstruments equipment available to maximise student experience and achievement. Gethin will discuss the evolution of Lt use - from online learning to the return to business as usual to future plans.
We would like to stress that ADInstruments invites experienced Lt users to present from a diverse range of backgrounds. Selection is based on availability to travel and willingness to present only.
