Sign in together on one shared computer to work on a group lesson. Each student enters their own credentials, and the first student added becomes the group leader.
Follow your instructor's lesson link, membership rules, and deadline. Every participating student needs access to the course and lesson.
Group login on a shared computer
Start together
- Open the Lt sign-in page and select Group Login.
- Choose the group leader. Add this person first. When returning to existing work, choose the person whose lesson work the group intends to continue.
- Each student enters their own email and password and selects Add to group. Complete any authentication prompts. Let each person enter their own credentials.
- Check that everyone who is participating appears once and that the correct person is labelled GROUP LEADER. Remove incorrect entries before continuing.
- Select Sign in, choose the course, and open the group lesson. A group session shows group lessons available to its members; individual lessons may not appear.
- In lesson preview, select the start or continue button. Check the names and any warnings in Start Group Lesson or Continue Group Lesson.
- Select Start with Group or Continue with Group only when the membership and selected work are correct.
Check before replacing work: The group leader's lesson determines the work used by the group. Starting or continuing can replace another member's existing work. Cancel and ask your instructor if the group needs a different person's work.
Work and return later
Discuss the task together and enter the agreed responses on the shared computer. Take turns contributing.
To change the signed-in members or leader, sign out and form the group again. On return, add the intended leader first, open the same lesson, and check the continuation dialog before proceeding. Do not assume changing the leader will preserve the previous group's answers.
Signing out signs out everyone in the session.
Finish
Review the completed responses and group membership together. Use the completion or report page to commit or submit when your instructor directs. A committed lesson is available for viewing and cannot be edited normally. Sign in individually to view your own grades when released.
