Yes, you can directly connect to and power a C-Series Front-End Interface (FEI) with a computer's USB port, but the host computer must have a USB-C port able to supply enough power to run the ADInstruments Front-End Amplifier you are using in combination with the FEI. All ADInstruments Bio Amplifiers and Bridge Amplifiers with four channels or less require a minimum of 15 Watts of power, and most other ADInstruments Front-End devices require a minimum of 7.5 Watts.
Device synchronization, mains filtering and select other features enabled by the use of a PowerLab C will not be available. Additionally, only a single C-Series Front-End Interface can be used in this configuration. and any ADInstruments Front-End Amplifier with more than four channels is not supported.
