If tissue has dried on the catheter, the catheter can be soaked for an extended amount of time. However, this soak time should not exceed 4 hours. Repeated over-soaking can lead to catheter damage.  For best results, prevent the catheter and any adhered tissue from drying by immediately soaking the catheter in saline or distilled water until you are ready to clean.

DO NOT USE:
  • Glutaraldehyde solutions containing surfactants (e.g. Cidex 7 or Cidex Plus 28 Day)
  • Solutions containing Hydrogen Peroxide (e.g. Sporox)
  • Cidex PA solution
