The total amount of power (Wattage) available to a Powerlab C and the devices connected to it is referred to as the ‘Power Budget’, and the PowerLab will automatically optimizes the available Power Budget to properly power each connected device.
When powered by Mains (Wall) Power, the available Power Budget is 310 Watts, and each of the four PowerLab Downstream Facing Ports (DFP) can provide up to 100 Watts of power to connected devices as long as the total of 310 Watts is not exceeded. All possible configurations of ADInstruments sourced devices can be powered by the PowerLab C when Mains Power is used.
If powered by a host computer's USB port or with an external battery pack connected to the PowerLab's Aux. Power Input instead of Mains Power the total amount of power available via the PowerLab's DFPs will be limited by the maximum power available from the computer's USB port or external battery pack being used.
