In a normal scenario, parameters set up in Data Pad would be saved in a LabChart Settings File.
However, if you have a settings file that was created in LabChart 7.2.3 for Windows or earlier and you open it in LabChart 7.3 for Windows or later, it is likely that your Data Pad settings will be lost. This is because the Data Pad underwent a significant revision that added many new features in version 7.3. In this instance, you will need to recreate the Data Pad parameters, and re-save in the newer version of LabChart for Windows.
Note, it is not possible to save any Excel based formulas in a LabChart Settings File, so any calculations that you create will be lost. Excel based formulas can be saved in a LabChart Data File.
