Rodent NIBP CODA® VPR Cuff Sensors
Cuff Sensors are designed for use with the ADInstruments CODA® Monitor for recording non-invasive blood pressure from rodents.
Overview
The Rodent NIBP CODA® VPR Cuff Sensors are designed for use with the ADInstruments CODA® Monitor to record non-invasive blood pressure from rodents.
Each VPR Cuff sensor incorporates a specially designed differential pressure transducer that measures the animal's systolic and diastolic blood pressure by determining the blood volume in the tail.
Four VPR Cuff Sensor sizes are available (Sml, Med, Lrg and XLrg) to cater to different animal sizes. Each VPR Cuff Sensor is designed to work with a corresponding Occlusion Cuff (purchased separately).
The VPR Cuff Sensors are supplied standard as part of the Rodent NIBP CODA® Monitor Sets. However additional or replacement VPR Cuff Sensors can be purchased separately.
Please Note: The cuff fit may vary among strains and individual animals. Weights are an approximation. Please contact your ADInstruments representative with your animal’s tail diameters if there is a concern, as we may be able to help in determining the best fit for your animals.
